September 10 will host historian, Joseph J. Macasek The historic Prallsville Mills will host historian Joseph J. Macasek at 1 pm on Sunday, September 10. Macasek, President of the New Jersey Canal Society will regal visitors with the history of the Joint Companies, one of the most powerful and controversial monopoly in New Jersey history.

Woodlands’ 5th Annual Community Day!

Woodlands will hold its annual Community Day, offering the public a rare opportunity to visit one of New Jersey’s foremost wildlife rehabilitation facilities. Due to the nature of its work, Woodlands is normally closed to the public except for patient admissions and scheduled education programs.
